
AutoCAD Fundamentals and Intermediate

This course is for beginners and will introduce the elementary design concepts in engineering drawing such as descriptive geometry, visualization, orthographic projections, sectional views, auxiliary views, dimensioning, and working drawings computer aided design (AutoCAD) applications.
At the end of this course, students should be able to: recognize and apply standard drafting principles using AutoCAD; apply proper engineering drawing terminology when working on design problems; identify the differences in styles of drawings; apply basic geometric dimensioning; differentiate between multiple orthographic views; and Visualize and create isometric drawings.
