Overview
The Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification program is for individuals looking to teach and apply Six Sigma concepts, principles, tools and methodologies. Participants demonstrate complete comprehension of the DMAIC process improvement methodology in accordance with Six Sigma principles and a thorough understanding of the application of Lean Systems in a Six Sigma project and are able to identify and eliminate non-value-added elements and activities from their process.

Cancellation Policy:
If a request for cancellation is received in writing at least seven (7) business days prior to the first day of class, a 90% refund will be issued. A 10% administrative fee will be applied to the cancellation. If a student cancels a class session less than seven (7) business days prior to the first day of class or is a “no show” for the class sessions, no refund will be given. The Division of External Programs reserves the right to cancel the course and return all fees in the event of insufficient enrollment. The liability of FIU is limited to the registration fee.
